The Tilth Master combines subsoiler legs & tines with a double row of discs
and packer, both hydraulically controlled, to create a firm, level seedbed in one pass.
'one pass stubble to seedbed'
The Tilth Master has performed very well on all soil types, and enables farmers
to cultivate the subsoil and top tilth in one pass, saving time and money!
The Construction of Tilth Master
A combination of three Subsoiler legs and four tines are mounted in a staggered pattern, the tines are fully adjustable.
The number and layout of the subsoiling tools allows trash to
flow whilst breaking the pan, without excessive soil disturbance.
These legs are shear bolted and will feature quick change points.
A double row of 500mm concave discs, are hydraulically mounted enabling depth adjustments to be made quickly and easily from within the cab.
The disc sets can be independently adjusted and can be completely raised from the soil should there be a requirement to use the subsoiler legs only. Read more
Finally, a packer which presses and firms to a high quality.
Comprising a 476mm diameter packer roller mounted on heavy duty quality bearings c/w adjustable scrapers.
Hydraulically mounted allowing quick and easy depth adjustments to be made from within the cab, full lift reduces the transport length of the machine.
Tilth Master has performed well on a number of soil types and with a power requirement from 170-220 horsepower, will fit in with most farm arrangements.
Optional Xtra
The Tilth Master can be fitted with a Stocks Micro Meter, available with either Vari-Speed or Wizard controls, ideal for drilling rape in one-pass

Origins of Tilth Master Designed by a farmer - For a farmer
The original Tilth Master was born from the imagination of arable farmers, Steven Raven and his late father, Michael Raven.
They had tried the cultivation machinery in the market place, in various combinations, but were not satisfied with what they found. All too often multiple passes were necessary to achieve the desired subsoil and top tilth in preparation for seed drilling.
And so, during the quieter winter months they designed and built Tilth Master, encompassing the best of cultivation techniques in a one pass machine.
Tilth Master was successfully used using the 2006/07 & 07/08 season on their 1150 acre farm to prepare the land in front of a combination drill for growing wheat.
Steven Raven, in a tribute to this father, updated the Tilth Master in 2009, to the improved model now shown, making a few alterations such as the hydraulic adjustments.
Interest by local farmers and dealers, and the placement of orders for Tilth Master has meant that Steven has now contracted a local engineering company to produce Tilth Master on his behalf.
